About Troop 373

Troop 373 is an active, boy-led, camping-oriented Troop in Wheaton, Illinois. The Troop includes active Scouts from several surrounding communities serving school district 200, 89,and 87. As well as a wide range of religious affiliations.

In early 2006, we announced a new meeting location and partnership with Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1735 S. Blanchard, Wheaton, IL. We are grateful to Aldersgate and have enjoyed a great partnership with their church family.

We’d like to thank Dr. Mike Koehne who is our Charter Representative. Mike is not only a former Troop 373 parent, but also a avid scouter within the council and brings a lot of energy and support to our Troop.

Troop 373 camps monthly and has regular Troop meetings weekly on Monday nights from 7:30-9:00pm, including over the summer months. During the school year, we do not on meet school days off. As the Troop has grown, we are now broadening the range of options to Scouts so that programs help young Scouts grow, at the same time offering older Scouts additional opportunities for high adventure, including trips to places like Philmont Scout Reservation in Cimarron, New Mexico.
